Pilot Proficiency & Assessment Check

Being an active pilot with an ATPL licence means that ensuring your skills are kept up to date is very important.

Most airlines require simulator checks every 6 months to ensure that you are up to date and still following best practices. If you are in the process of looking for an active role, you should look to visit a simulator monthly where possible, but three month as a minimum to keep you fresh.

This session is instructed by a currently active commercial airline pilot

In our simulator refresher and check sessions you have access to the following:

  • An initial briefing as to what the days flight is going to entail, in our briefing room
  • A debriefing after the flight
  • Access to our navigation charts provided by Jeppesen in order to plan your route
  • A fully printed flight plan including load sheet
  • Real world weather during the flight if needed
  • Air Traffic Control provided from our instructor station through a headset
  • A co-pilot should one be needed
  • Simulation of any weather types and cloud formations
  • Full suite of aircraft failures can be programmed
  • Raw data flying

The sessions can be as short or as long as needed. You will have access to a current commercial airline pilot should you have any questions on the day or leading up to your session.
